Rowan Dowland General Manager Corporate Development
The launch of Bank Australia’s first advertising campaign titled We’re open, is an important milestone for all of us who believe in the value of customer owned responsible banking.
And we’re so pleased that a group of our own customers agreed to be featured in the advertisements.
Whilst the campaign runs across the country using a range of different traditional and digital media, we’ve also introduced something a little quirky. We’ve taken over a train carriage on Melbourne metro rail where commuters can participate in a series of online polls called “Where do you stand?”
Across the next eight weeks commuters will be invited to use their mobile device whilst on the train to visit mystand.bankaust.com.au and express their opinion on a host of different issues each week.
This week we’re asking should banks put people before profits?
You can also take a stand any time you like, just visit mystand.bankaust.com.au
Our campaign makes it clear that people now have a real choice who to bank with and that Bank Australia is committed to helping improve people’s financial well being whilst creating a strong, fair nation and a healthy planet.
I hope you’ll see the campaign either on TV, the radio, in print, online, whilst at the cinema or on the train. We’re also appearing on a fleet of buses.
