At Bank Australia we believe that art has the power to change the world. That’s why we are partnering with Melbourne Fringe Festival for a fourth year in a row.
Melbourne Fringe is Victoria’s longest running multi-arts festival and has been a fixture of the cultural life of the city for over 34 years. The festival provides a key platform for artists to test new ideas, nurture talent and celebrate diversity and innovation.
This year’s festival will run from 15 September until 2 October and during that time we’ll be treated to over 400 acts with over 3000 artists participating.
As a part of our partnership, Bank Australia will be presenting a number of initiatives this year:
Take Five at Five will offer $5 off tickets to Fringe events when you purchase tickets for the next available session from the Bank Australia Ticket Booth in City Square on Swanston Street at 5pm on festival days (except Monday). The discount will be paid by Bank Australia so the artists don’t lose a cent.
The Bank Australia Ticket Booth in City Square on Swanston Street will offer a central location to peruse the program, book tickets and maybe even get a recommendation from the resident fortune teller.
The Bank Australia Showlist is a digital tool that you can use to curate your very own Melbourne Fringe experience. Try it out!
Bank Australia + Art at the Lithuanian Club will offer an opportunity for Fringe audiences to get their hands dirty and let out their creative side while they are waiting for a show to start.
During Melbourne Fringe we will be offering a range of ways for Bank Australia customers to attend the festival and get involved! Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
