How we support community organisations

Bank Australia has a long history of support for environment, social inclusion and community groups dating back to 1957. We offer banking services to hundreds of NGOs, charitable funds, community groups whether they are a grass roots group or a peak body we provide banking products for the organisation and staff.

In addition to offering great value products and services, we also invest 4% of our after tax profits into the Bank Australia Impact Fund which funds projects that have a measurable impact on people, planet and prosperity. The priority funding areas are identified in consultation with customers so that our profits are invested in line with the values and concerns of our customer base.

Our current priority areas include environmental sustainability, non-profit/social enterprise, gender equality, reconciliation, disability and educational disadvantage. Eligible Bank Australia customers can apply for funding under our Small Investments initiative which opens in February each year.
