SMS alerts send you information about your account directly to your mobile phone.
You can set up your account to get an SMS text message (or email) alert when certain ‘events’ occur. There are four events:
- a direct credit is received and deposited to your account
- a direct debit is paid from your account
- you’ve reached your nominated account balance threshold. You can set a high or low balance limit and get an alert whenever your account balance reaches that limit
- regular, scheduled account balances (set daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, half yearly or yearly).
If you don’t want to receive event-triggered alerts, and only on demand alerts, simply follow steps one to four.
