What can you use event-triggered SMS alerts for?

You can set up your account to get an SMS text message (or email) alert when certain ‘events’ occur. There are four events:

  • a direct credit is received and deposited to your account
  • a direct debit is paid from your account
  • you’ve reached your nominated account balance threshold. You can set a high or low balance limit and get an alert whenever your account balance reaches that limit
  • regular, scheduled account balances (set daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, half yearly or yearly).

If you don’t want to receive event-triggered alerts, and only on demand alerts, simply follow steps one to four.
