Following the Government’s announcement of stay-at-home restrictions, we've decided to temporarily close our Sydney CBD branch and Melbourne CBD branch. We’ve made this decision to limit the potential risks to our customers and staff and to support the efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the areas under stay-at-home restrictions. When you make a purchase with Tap & Pay, the details are kept on screen. Can you remove this?

Yes. When logged into the Bank Australia app and the Tap & Pay section you can select the settings icon. From here you can untick “Keep status in notification area”. This will allow you to dismiss notifications after they are displayed.
