Aussie Bird count is an annual citizen science initative by BirdLife Australia, Australia's largest bird conservation charity.
The Aussie Bird Count is a fun activity for people of all ages, inviting you to observe and count the birds in your local area. Whether you're in your backyard, a nearby park, at the beach, or even in the middle of town, every bird sighting counts.
With just 20 minutes during the Aussie Bird Count from 19-25 October, you can help build a picture of how our feathered friends are faring.
Every count on the free app contributes valuable data to BirdLife Australia, helping protect and better understand our country’s birdlife.
