Eligibility criteria

  • People aged 13+

  • People who have a Commonwealth Seniors Health card, a Pensioner Concession card or a Health Care card

  • People living in Australia as a permanent resident or with a relevant work visa

  • Only one Basic Access account is allowed per customer, solely or jointly owned

Customers who hold a Health Care Card and do not receive Government benefits, must credit their low income earnings into this account.

Upon expiry of an eligible card, customers must provide updated card details. If updated details are not provided within two months of card expiration the account will be converted to an Everyday Access account. Applicable fees and charges will apply. Cards may be presented in person or a copy sent via secure email or traditional mail.
