Cover options

Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance

Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance provides you with cover for people killed or injured in a motor vehicle accident for which you or the driver of your vehicle are at fault. CTP insurance is compulsory in all states of Australia and does not provide any cover for damage to property.

Comprehensive Car Insurance

Comprehensive Car Insurance provides cover for damage to property. It provides cover for damage to your own vehicle, theft of your vehicle and damage you cause to other people's property and vehicles.

Third Party Property Damage

Provides you with cover for loss or damage to someone else's property caused by a car accident which is your fault.

Cover for damaged windscreens is provided by your Allianz Comprehensive Car insurance policy, subject to any applicable excess listed in your policy schedule or in your PDS.

We also offer an option for the removal of basic excess on windscreen claims. If you have selected this option, you will not need to pay the basic excess if the broken windscreen is the only damage to your vehicle. This covers 1 replacement and 2 repairs in any period of  insurance For full details of conditions and exclusions please refer to the relevant PDS.

Unless they are listed on your car insurance policy, we are unable to provide any information nor can they action any requests on your behalf. Please contact our staff on 132 888 to discuss what is involved in providing them access to your car insurance policy.

3 Safe Driver Discount applies to new Comprehensive Motor Insurance policies only. Any discount entitlement is determined by the insurance history and driving history of all drivers on the policy and the number of claims made by them. If eligible, the maximum Safe Driver Discount that may be applied on new policies is up to 10%.

4 Premiums payable by instalments may be subject to minor adjustments (upwards or downwards) due to rounding and financial institution transaction fees may apply.

5. In certain circumstances we may agree with you to use another repairer than the one that you selected. We will act reasonably in doing so

6 We will extend your rental car or daily travel allowance period to the extent that we caused or contributed to the delay in repairing your vehicle
