A day in the life at our Contact Centre in Moe
Bank Australia staff member Patricia shares her story.
We work to create positive social outcomes for people - our customers, our staff and the communities in which we operate.
We do this by:
We’re committed to helping create a more inclusive society for people living with a disability.
We’re improving inclusion and accessibility for our customers and staff through the way we design our products, services and buildings; by increasing employment opportunities for people with a disability; and by creating a positive community impact through customer grants and lending to specialist disability housing.
Bank Australia’s website satisfies the requirements for a AA – Intermediate rating for accessibility under the WCAG 2.0 guidelines. If you need an accessibility tool to view our website, please download the eSSENTIAL Accessibility browser.

We’re encouraging a more financially inclusive and resilient society by offering fee free and other affordable products to low income earners, helping customers facing financial hardship and working in the community to increase financial confidence, like running budgeting workshops with The Big Issue vendors.
We’re helping address the disadvantage faced by more than 3 million Australians who are unable to access banking and insurance products or facing financial hardship.
Through our responsible lending practice, we are commitment to avoiding putting customers in a position where debts puts them under financial pressure by only lending to those that have the ability to repay debt. Customers also have access to our hardship support service.
Bank Australia is 100% Australian based, and we are committed to keeping jobs here in Australia.
We operate throughout Australia, with our headquarters in Melbourne, Victoria. Our national lending and contact centres are based in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley, our contracts processing team is based in Bendigo. We also operate 26 branches across Victoria, News South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and the ACT.
We are proud of our long history of operating in regional areas and over half of our employees are based in regional Australia.
We are a strongly committed to being an inclusive employer. An important element of this is our traineeship program, which fosters inclusion and provides meaningful employment pathways to people from Indigenous and refugee backgrounds, and to people with a disability.
