×We work to create positive social outcomes for people - our customers, our staff and the communities in which we operate.
We do this by:
We’re committed to helping create a more inclusive society for people living with a disability.
We’re improving inclusion and accessibility for our customers and staff through the way we design our products, services and buildings; by increasing employment opportunities for people with a disability; and by creating a positive community impact through customer grants and lending to specialist disability housing.
We’re working with inclusive design partner, Design for Dignity to ensure all customers are able to access our premises, products and services in a safe, equitable, and dignified way.
We’re supporting and providing housing for Australians who have a disability, being a founding member of the Specialist Disability Accommodation Alliance.
We’re supporting the social inclusion of people with high and complex support needs through the Local Inclusive Fitness for Everyone (LIFE) project in Moe, regional Victoria.
Bank Australia’s website satisfies the requirements for a AA – Intermediate rating for accessibility under the WCAG 2.0 guidelines. If you need an accessibility tool to view our website, please download the eSSENTIAL Accessibility browser.

We’re encouraging a more financially inclusive and resilient society by offering fee free and other affordable products to low income earners, helping customers facing financial hardship and working in the community to increase financial confidence, like running budgeting workshops with The Big Issue vendors.
We’re helping address the disadvantage faced by more than 3 million Australians who are unable to access banking and insurance products or facing financial hardship.
As the national vendor uniform partner of The Big Issue, we support vendors by supplying the vests, hats, bags and lanyards that help them stand out on the street around the country and have begun running budgeting workshops to help build their financial confidence.
We are one of 40 organisations involved in the Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP) program, a national initiative developed by Good Shepherd Microfinance and partners EY, Centre for Social Impact and the Australian Government to improve financial inclusion for employees, customers and communities.
Through our responsible lending practice, we are commitment to avoiding putting customers in a position where debts puts them under financial pressure by only lending to those that have the ability to repay debt. Customers also have access to our hardship support service.

We’re proud members of the B Corp movement, committed to embedding purpose in all aspects of our business. We use banking as a force for good.
The money in your account is used by banks to make loans and investments - to industries that do good or those that do harm. So where you bank ultimately shapes the world we live in.
