Bank Australia recognises that an effective Whistleblowing Program helps a business to learn about problems, improve their practices, and reduce business risks and is also an important part of fostering a culture of ethical behaviour throughout the business.
We encourage employees and external parties to speak up and report any conduct they believe to be inappropriate. Bank Australia provides avenues to allow those who want to raise concerns to do so with appropriate support.
If you are a customer and have a complaint with the manner we have handled any matter, product, or service, then please contact us via phone, email or online.
Our Whistleblower Program describes what type of conduct can be reported and includes conduct that is
- Illegal or Fraudulent
- Theft or embezzlement
- A conflict of interest
- Breach of internal policy (including the Staff Code of Conduct)
- A danger to the public or financial system
The Whistleblower Program applies to any individual who is, or has been an employee, director, officer, contractor, consultant, service provider or supplier or business partner, associate of the company, and a relative, dependent or spouse of any of the aforementioned.
