What is pre-screening? And how do I opt out of it?

Bank Australia or other lenders may ask credit reporting bodies to use credit information they hold about you to ‘pre-screen’ you for direct marketing. This helps us assess if a product offered is relevant to you.

You can ask credit reporting bodies to not use your information in this way. You’ll need to contact each of them separately. (The three main Australian reporting agencies are Equifax (formerly known as Veda), illion (formerly known as Dun & Bradstreet) and Experian.)
