Interest rate increase

Bank Australia will increase variable interest rates in response to the RBA’s recent decision to raise the official cash rate.

Home loan variable interest rates will increase by 0.25% for owner-occupied, investment and commercial loans, effective 20 May 2026.

From 20 May 2026, deposit rates across the majority of savings products will also increase by 0.25%.

Affected customers will receive more information on the changes to their rate in the coming days.
