Getting started with your new Visa Card


Simple, convenient payments worldwide

Use your Bank Australia Visa Card in-store, online, over the phone and withdraw local currency at millions of locations worldwide, wherever Visa is accepted.

  Login to the app or internet banking

  Go to Cards

  Activate or unlock your card

  Choose your card PIN

  Add your card to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay

  Instantly transfer money into your new account with Osko using either your BSB/account numbers or by setting up your mobile or email as your PayID

  • Ordered cards will be mailed to your postal address. This typically takes 5-7 business days.
  • Your card will be received inactive and will need to be activated online before you can start using it.
  • All our cards can be added to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay wallets
Expired card renewal

Your card will eventually expire, once this happens you’ll automatically be sent a new one about a month before it expires.

  • Your replacement card will be sent to you active, you can start using it straight away
  • Your card number, PIN and card controls will remain the same
  • You can continue to use your current card until the end of the expiry month

Switch it on or off instantly within the Bank Australia App.

Have a Bank Australia Credit Card?

Link your Round UP to your eligible Credit Card and chip away at lowering your balance. 

What do I do if I've lost my card?


Report your card as lost or stolen

If your card has been stolen or lost, please report it immediately to minimise the risk of unauthorised use.

You can do this via the app or internet banking (go to "Cards") or call us on 132 888 from within Australia or +61 3 9854 4666 from overseas. If you are calling outside of business hours please listen to our after hours message for directions.

Replacement card: If you are within Australia, your card will be replaced within 5-7 working days.


Lock your card

If you think you've just misplaced your card you can lock it instead via the app or internet banking. If you lock your card, your digital wallet will still be available for use, unless you decide to turn that off too. You can unlock your card anytime.
