Grab the popcorn — we’re back with MIFF for another blockbuster year!

Photo journal

Bank Australia is delighted to announce our fourth year of partnering with the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), one of Australia's most iconic cultural events.

We are excited to join forces with MIFF to present their 2025 program, reflecting our shared commitment to community and global well-being.

This partnership celebrates the intersection of film and social responsibility. By supporting this years festival, we aim to foster a vibrant cultural landscape that inspires and engages communities. Both MIFF and Bank Australia believe in the power of creativity and storytelling to drive positive change, making this partnership a perfect fit.

James J Robinson, director of First Light and Bank Australia customer, said:

"There is no art if we have no planet. That's the reward in this line of work, not awards or praise ,but the chance to encourage an audience to reflect on life, the land, on community. As a long time MIFF volunteer and Bank Australia customer, I'm proud to support those whose ethics are practiced not only conceptually, but through direct action on sustainability and in communities. Even the smallest step we take towards sustainability is powerful and brings us closer in harmony with the planet and to each other."

We look forward to supporting the MIFF 2025 program and making a positive impact together.

Be sure to check out the full MIFF 2025 program.
