What is involved in paying out and discharging your home loan?

If you are selling your home, you’ll need a request in writing from your conveyancer or solicitor. We can finalise your discharge in three to five weeks.

There's some excellent information to assist with the process for discharging your mortgage at dtpli.vic.gov.au/property-and-land-titles/land-titles/dealing-with-titles/mortgages-and-discharges

Check here for your State land titles office: australia.gov.au/information-and-services/family-and-community/housing-and-property/land-titles

If you are looking to refinance your Bank Australia home loan we need a completed discharge request from the financial institution you are refinancing to. The transfer usually takes three to five weeks.
