Customer alert update: Due to a technical issue monthly interest payments have not been paid to Bonus Saver and mySaver accounts. The problem has been identified and the bonus interest payments issue will be resolved overnight (1 June 2020). We will pay bonus interest at the previous interest rates (1.34%p.a. for Bonus Saver or 1.54% for mySaver + 0.01%p.a. base rate) effective to 31 May 2020 to all eligible account holders. The new interest rates announced on 28 May 2020 will now apply from 1 June 2020. How to bank from home during COVID-19

You can self-serve your day-to-day banking needs via Bank Australia's App, Internet Banking or Phone Banking.

From checking your balance to activating a card - there are so many things you can do yourself, without having to visit a branch or call our Contact Centre.

And whilst we always love a chat, using our self-service options will allow us even more time to assist customers who are most in need of our support.

We have 3 self-serve options: our App, Internet Banking and Phone Banking.

Our App is the most convenient option, where you can do all your banking on a smart phone or tablet. Internet Banking is best for desktop computers or laptops, while Phone Banking only needs you to have any mobile or home phone.

Our App, Internet Banking and Phone Banking all allow you to:

  • Check your balance
  • Make payments and transfers
  • Pay your bills via BPAY
  • Check your transaction history
  • Activate or cancel your cards

How to register

I'm not sure if I'm registered for internet banking. How do I register?

  • The best thing to do would be to call us on 132 888.
  • Our team in the Contact Centre will help get you set up for Internet Banking.

I know I'm registered and I have my customer number. How do I get into Internet Banking?

  • That's great! You're halfway there. All you need to do is recover your password.
  • You can recover your password by clicking "Forgot password" on this page.
  • To recover your password, you’ll answer a few of our questions and receive a password via SMS.

I know I'm set up for internet banking but can't remember how to use it. How do I use it?

  • We have a helpful guide here that takes you through each step of signing in, looking at your accounts and how to transfer money and pay bills.

I just want the app on my phone.

  • Before you use our app, you need to register for Internet Banking.
  • If you're already registered, you're good to go.
  • If you're not, give us a call on 132 888.
  • Download our App from the Apple Store for your iPhone or Google Play for your Android phone.
  • Sign in using your customer number and Internet Banking password.
